 Herbert Park Hotel selected Datapac as its maintenance partner for all their computer equipment and internal networks. Datapac provides maintenance on the main hotel network, file servers, PCs, printers, hubs and firewalls as well as Windows 2003 Server, Exchange 2003, Sophos Anti Virus and Sonicwall Firewalls. Datapac also supports and updates these applications as well as supporting the overall running of the hotel’s computer systems and liaises with service providers of specific applications as necessary.

Datapac installed a server-based computing solution based on Citrix MetaFrame at the main Dublin site, with WAN connecting users at the twelve remote depots. Centralised management and support relieves administrators from constant travel to the remote locations to configure a PC.

 Senator Windows turned to Datapac, their solution provider for help when they decided to install their new IT infrastructure. Datapac recommended that Senator Windows upgrade its existing servers to Microsoft SBS 2003 and implement, at the same time, Microsoft Exchange in order to replace the entire email system and ISA server for web access.
