
Datapac, the leading Irish business technologies and IT consumables provider, today announced a major sponsorship agreement with The Wexford Festival Trust which encompasses Wexford Opera House and Wexford Festival Opera and continues Datapac’s support of the performing arts.
Under the terms of the agreement, Datapac will become the official IT and Communications Partner to WFT and will provide information technology and communications solutions as well as maintenance support. Wexford Opera House is Ireland’s first custom-built, multi-purpose opera house which will attract an increasing number of visitors to Wexford into the future to enjoy the annual opera festival and also a range of other planned artistic activity. Its ambition and achievement is a matter of both local and national significance.

The 57th Wexford Festival Opera opened on 16 October 2008 for 18 days and nights of rarely explored and popular repertoire. There are three main Opera productions in addition to three Short Works Opera, Choral Concerts, Lectures, and Recitals.
