The Role in Brief:

As a Direct Sales Graduate at Datapac, you’ll operating in ICT sales, working closely with our experienced team members and under the guidance of a dedicated mentor. Your primary focus will be on transactional sales activities, building relationships with customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer-focused with a polite telephone manner, strong administrative skills, and attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, such as Excel and Word.
  • Engagement with customers (active, inactive, and prospective) to boost account activation and sales.
  • Adapt to changing customer needs by understanding and addressing their requirements.
  • Align customer needs with products, services, and solutions from our portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities among both existing and potential customers.
  • Ensure precision in generating quotations, processing orders, and maintaining detailed CRM records.

General Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal communication with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on additional duties as assigned by the Direct Sales Team Leader.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness in undertaking all duties and to consider the business impact of all actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company Data Protection and Information Security procedures.
  • Drive personal learning and development with the support of the Direct Sales team.
  • Prioritise Health & Safety protocols while carrying out duties.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Customer-focused work experience is advantageous.
  • Education: Leaving certificate or equivalent is essential.
  • Certifications: Additional certifications from industry bodies are beneficial but not required.
  • Skills: Clear and professional telephone manner, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented, committed to personal and professional growth.
