The 6th Wexford Business Awards took place recently in Whites of Wexford. The gala awards ceremony was attended by 470 businesses from around Wexford and was a great way to highlight and commend the innovation, talent and overall success of businesses throughout the county. It was great to see such a strong focus around sustainability and environmental awareness at the awards as each application’s green credentials were taken into account when deciding this year’s winners.
Datapac, Ireland’s leading IT services and technology solutions provider, was delighted to sponsor and help judge one of the big awards of the night – the ‘Wexford Service Provider of the Year’. This award was particularly poignant for Datapac as it embodies our own drive to provide the best service possible to our customers.
The standard of applications was incredibly high but in the end Kerlogue Nursing Home took home the prize for ‘Wexford Service Provider of the Year’ due to the unequalled standard of quality, comfort and care their residents receive. Through their friendly, supportive and professional care Kerlogue Nursing Home is enabling its residents to live as the individuals they are.
The highly commended runner-up was Pure Oil, who through their waste cooking oil collection, is providing a service that is both innovative and convenient while also helping to reduce waste and dispose of it in a responsible way.
The calibre and diverse range of businesses that attended and won prizes at the awards this year is a brilliant showcase of what a great place Wexford is to do business in.
